Nokia 6750 offered by Rogers Wireless

Rogers Wireless has just announced that they will be making available the Nokia 6750 to the masses, targeting those who are on the lookout for a sleek and stylish cellphone which is loaded with fun features, allowing one to remain connected to family and friends through the recent (and still ongoing) craze known as social networking regardless of where you are. Drawing inspiration from the human body, the Nokia 6750 comes across as a chrome flip cellphone complete with an ergonomic design which will conform nicely to your hand, allowing you to chat all the more without suffering from unwanted or unnecessary cramps. Fashionistas will be able to communicate in comfort and at length, and will be more than proud to show off the phone thanks to the hidden display cover illuminations. Lighting up in blue, orange, pink, green, purple and red for a unique touch, you also get a highly readable, large display with 16 million colors.

A large keyboard is there to make it a whole lot easier to type out those lengthy text messages as well as handle a flurry of tweeting on-the-go, while the inclusion of a 2.0 megapixel camera makes it a snap (no pun intended) to capture impromptu moments which you can then upload later on for others to view. With a web browser thrown into the mix, Canadians will be able to remain more connected than ever before, utilizing the powerful media sharing capability of Nokia’s free media sharing community known as Ovi Share.

Audiophiles who can’t live without music will also love the Nokia 6750 as it allows you to access to the urMusic service from Rogers Wireless, where external music keys make it a snap to have full control of your audio tracks wherever you are, while Bluetooth stereo adaptability lets you live out the wireless lifestyle with a pair of Bluetooh headphones. You can also tote around 32GB of audio thanks to a microSDHC memory card slot. Rogers Wireless is offering the Nokia 6750 for $99.99 on a 3 year contract.

Jalou by Dolce&Gabbana

jalou

Love collecting special edition phones? Well, Sony Ericsson has something for collectors of the exotic - the Jalou by Dolce&Gabbana limited edition clamshell handset that exudes style and substance from within and without. This Dolce & Gabbana branded style statement resembles a beautifully facet cut jewel form and measures but a mere 73mm in length, making it shorter than most women’s (and some men’s) favorite lipstick, allowing you to slip it into but the smallest of clutch or jacket pockets without resulting in an unsightly bulge.

Jalou by Dolce&Gabbana will be accompanied by exclusive packaging and accessories that comprise of a trio of silky rose satin bags that help protect your precious new handset, stash the charger away safely or for the more creative among you, to carry some jewellery to complement the phone whenever you pull it out. In addition, owners will definitely be pleased to know that each purchase will come with a special Dolce & Gabbana branded headset with gold accents for that added touch of luxury and elegance, helping you stay in touch with family and friends in style.

Just as the handset itself is special, expect extra special content to be made available on the Jalou by Dolce&Gabbana. Inside the phone, you will be able to find exclusive photography and video clips from Dolce&Gabbana’s women’s Autumn/Winter 2010 runway show, alongside sneak peek footage from all the backstage action - would be cool if this handset had a built-in projector though, as it allows you to go wild with the rest of your girlfriends who have an equal love for fashion and all things trendy just like you. Apart from that, you can also find a range of stylish themes and wallpapers, access to a Dolce & Gabbana blog which will shimmy over the latest trends, news and gossip straight to your handset through an RSS feed.

Nokia N96

When it comes to reviewing the latest-latest gadgets, Mobile-Review.com is simply one of the best. Their review of the Nokia N96 provides you with many insights into this feature-packed Symbian gadget which will be officially released around 3rd Quarter this year. As for when it hits Australia, I would give it another couple of weeks.

Will be interesting to see how the battle against the new 3G iPhone pans out, especially with recent rumours that Apple just ordered 10 million new iPhones ready for sale .

Concept MacBook Touch tablet runs iPhone OS?

Settle down, this is by no means an official release. In fact this is merely just a concept, a thought of what a MacBook tablet computer could look like. While the MacBook Touch tablet concept by Isamu Sanada from Japan doesn’t come with any specs (leave that to your imagination), I’m not absolutely sure whether I would like to see the iPhone OS running on a tablet version of the MacBook. This makes it feel like a supersized iPhone, why not go for Mac OS X instead?
